️Markets
Weekly Markets
There are regular weekly markets (Wednesday Mojacar Pueblo, Friday Garrucha and Turre, Saturday Vera).
Seasonal Markets
Additionally, there are seasonal markets, like a Christmas Market in the little wooden huts in Almeria.
Several venues host craft markets throughout the year. Take a look at Delfos del Faz (Facebook) and Hostal Rural host a regular car boot sale.
There is a facebook group Mercados Almeria that aims to list as many of the markets as possible.
SUMMER ONLY: We love the evening summer craft market in Vera and the summer night market in Garrucha.
We hope by now you will have also taken a look at our day trips from Mojacar Also check out our blog on outdoor adventures Mojacar
Since moving to this area, we have been thrilled with the variety of activities locally. When you have work to do – visit us at DeskSpace Coworking Mojacar. DeskSpace is not just for longer term digital nomads – but it’s a way to extend your short break. Perhaps you can take advantage of better flights (better times, better departure airport, better costs) and combine with a couple of days of “working from home”. Additionally, for those interested in combining work and leisure, DeskSpace Mojácar provides a conducive environment (shared office / coworking) for digital nomads, allowing you to enjoy the town’s offerings while staying productive. Take a look at our coworking guide.
*Almost everything – if you’re looking for big shopping malls – apparently Murcia’s where it’s happening, although Almeria and Lorca have malls.
